the cairn has a lovely setting, perfect for a cozy stay. the staff were super friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. the log fire added a nice touch, and the fact they are dog-friendly is a huge plus for pet lovers!

the room was freezing and quite noisy at night, which impacted our sleep. would recommend.

Generous tea and coffee facilities in the room ensured a pleasant experience. the heating took time to adjust, and WiFi connectivity had some issues. Nonetheless, the friendly staff and lovely atmosphere made it a memorable visit.

The shower cubicle was uncomfortably small, making it a bit tricky to use. Although I appreciated the cleanliness, I did expect a more 'deluxe' experience given the price. Despite a few shortcomings, the attentive staff and charming atmosphere made my stay enjoyable.

I recently stayed for one night and was blown away by the food – the pigeon starter and blueberry cheesecake were particularly memorable! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, though the decor was a tad old-fashioned. Great location right in the heart of the village, making it easy to explore.

I had a brilliant stay with an amazing vegan breakfast and a powerful shower. The cozy bar is a perfect wind-down spot! I'd definitely come back.
